Sandvox - PayPal Button

Step-by-step, how to create a PayPal Buy Now or Pay Now Button and add it to Sandvox Pro either by pasting the HTML PayPal code into a text page or into a Raw HTML pagelet.

01. Log in to PayPal

03. Click ‘Merchant Tools’

04. Click ‘Get Started’

05. Click ‘PayPal Button Designer’

06. Click ‘Buy Now Button’ page link

07. Fill in the details for the purchase item’s button

08. Choose the type of button - Buy Now or Pay Now

09. Choose button encryption

10. Choose postal amount

Note, I used the UK version of PayPal. VAT is Value Added Tax.

12. Click the ‘Create Button Now’ button

13. Copy the HTML code for the PayPal Button

14. Click Done

15. In Sandvox: Click in a Rich Text page where the Button is to go

16. Click, Edit > Paste HTML into Text

17. The Button is pasted into the text

18. Alternatively use a Raw HTML page or pagelet

18.1 Site > Add Page > Raw HTML
or
18.2 Site > Add Pagelet > Raw HTML

19. Either double-click on the Raw HTML text area,

20. Or right-click and select Edit Raw HTML…

21. Delete any unwanted text

22. Paste in the PayPal Button code

23. Close the Raw HTML window

24. The PayPal Button in a Pagelet
